BOWL ON POLE VANISH
This effect was first introduced by Horace Marshall in the 1950's as the "Areodymanic Bowl Vanish. It was featured by Kalang and many others. It is a rare and difficult item to find now recreated in a very limited number using many of the original materials.
A chromed bowl is exhibited on a thin tray and water is poured into the bowl from any container; pitcher, or cup. The bowl is placed openingly onto a thin platform with a pole extending from the bottom. It is covered with a silk and lifted into the air. Suddenly, the silk is wisked off and the bowl has vanished in midair. The platform is turned sideways and spun to show it's top clearly empty to the audience.
This is not the outdated method of suspending items or such, but can be worked totally surrounded. Richard Hughes has went to great lengths to faithfully recreate the original effects in a sterling quality you be proud to use and exhibit.
